On this episode of the Fashion League podcast, I’m recapping some of the big fashion moments of 2019 with Fine Jewelry Publicist Jessica Kiraly.
I met Jessica back in May of 2014 at ELLE magazine when she was the incoming jewelry intern and I was the outgoing Jewelry intern training her, as I was leaving to be an assistant at Vanity Fair.
As a fine jewelry publicist, Jessica has worked for D'Orazio & Associates, DeBeers Jewelers, and Mega Mega Projects.
Most Stylish of the Decade
GQ just named Swiss tennis player Roger Federer the Most Stylish Man of the Decade. There were 16 finalists selected by GQ’s audience and then by a People's Choice vote, Roger Federer somehow come out victorious.
In the running for GQ's Most Stylish Man of the Decade were:
Pharrell Williams
Shia LeBouf
Tyler the Creator
Young Thug
David Beckham
ASAP Rocky
Kanye West
John Mayer (why???)
Ryan Gosling
Jonah Hill
Harry Styles
Russell Westbrook
Lebron James
Timote Chalamet
Justin Beiber
And the most stylish woman of the decade is obviously Rihanna. No voting needed.
In this decade, Rihanna has been a spokesperson for Dior, she sold out her Puma 'creeper sneaker' in 35 minutes, she’s collaborated with Manolo Blahnik on an all-denim collection of thigh-high boots and strappy sandals, and this year she dropped a photo-autobiography. A book of pictures, from throughout her career which sells from $150 to $5,000 on the low end—and another version of the book is available with price upon request.
